Making progress

Odd how I started to stray away from Final Fantasy 12, when I look at old posts I can see that I was really addicted to it, then I lost interest and now it's getting addicted again. I really don't feel like playing anything else. Maybe it will be great again for 47 hours and then I get bored? Now I've played 15 hours and feels great. I just have to make sure not to take too long breaks from it so I remember something from the story.

Btw, Vaan is annoying as hell. Strange how I didn't see that earlier.

But so much for games.

Picture from weeks 19+2, 29.10.2009

Pregnancy weeks at the moment 37+5.

Hard to say anything on the waiting front. Few days over 2 weeks to the due date, and the waiting has become really impatient. I want the little one already. :) The physical "symptoms" on Kirsi have been greater, but I can't really say anything more specific about that. Just some swelling or something. I'm just an observer..

I'm really ready for Leo already.

Great morning

The sun is coming up slowly. I woke up at 6:30. Trying to keep my sleep rhythm like that maybe some haååy day I would wake up to work more lively. In the past 1,5 years I've been fully awake maybe once..

Yesterday we got the combat boots we ordered a while back...and sent them back. Feels bad on my feet, and Kirsi's boots were shitty and clearly used. I don't understand how they dared to send those. Oh well, good thing that returning those don't cost anything. Varusteleka was the shop, don't buy anything from there.

We went to Tikkurila and ate at Wing Lung, good chinese food. Just mildly irritating that there were 4 teenage girls on the table next to us who were giggling about boys and "Do you wanna be with him?!?" "I wasn't with him because of his looks" etc.

Bought a cable from Prisma that I can put on the PS2/3, Xbox or Wii. Picture more clearer on a modern flat screen TV. Much better to play Final Fantasy with it. I recommend it highly.

Not a shitty day

Now there's a reason to smile! The sun is shining! It should be like this always. Then I can complain how irritating it is to squint my eyes because it is too bright to keep my eyes open. Luckily I have a pair of sunglasses....we need to get Kirsi's pair fixed so she doesn't have to suffer from the brightness.

I got my Xbox back from the trip to Germany yesterday. Really fast, I thought it would be there for 3 weeks or something. Now i have a better DVD drive in it. Though I am more interested in Final Fantasy 12 at the moment.

I got a free month of Xbox Live Gold membership with the box, so I should try out the Aliens versus Predator demo, that really felt crappy with a crappy PC, so I need to try it more before saying anything else.

Something something something something

First, some weather. Whew, the long lasting cold (below 0 degrees celcius, finnish: 'pakkanen') finally came to an end a few days ago. Now the snow has started to melt and soon we'll enjoy the slush, notice the sarcasm. It's already sleeting (or raining sleet? I'm not familiar with the weather words in english). So hooray for wet feet and floods. And then the water probably freezes and there's ice everywhere. Slippery roads hooray.

Now to more important matters. Only 3 weeks to go until the due date for the birth of our baby. Oh did I mention already that his name is Leo. We found out the gender in an ultrasound scan almost 18 weeks ago. The pregnancy week is now 36+6 if I remember correctly. I'm so excited :p We have all the things we need now ready, so the only thing to do is to wait.

On the videogaming front I had to send my Xbox 360 to Germany because of the crappy DVD drive. Games and DVDs didn't always work. So, i've been playing Fallout 2 and final fantasy 12 now. I think I'm starting to like FF12 again. When I first played it I got pretty far, 47 hours of play time, but then for some reason it wasn't so interesting anymore. Maybe it was the story. When there's a long time of not playing the game, I forgot the story and didn't know what I was doing. So better to start from the beginning. Fallout 2 on the other hand is, as always, most excellent. Never get tired of it.

Sorry if the text is a mess, I wrote it with my phone.

Oh yeah, we bought the Tuska Open Air Metal Festival tickets today, we're gonna see Ziltoid in July! x_x
